Silverdale is a Primary Academy which is part of the Hastings Academies Trust, for children aged between 4+ and 11+ years with 630 pupils on roll. It is situated in the northern part of St Leonards-on-Sea.

We are very proud of our academy site which has extensive and beautiful grounds and very large playing fields. We are very fortunate to have an indoor heated swimming pool on site, a rain forest themed library, a Forest Schools outdoor learning area and a large bank of ICT resources.

Our academy is based on the core values that Silverdale holds at the heart of all we do. We believe it is our responsibility to promote a community founded on respect, trust, fairness and honesty, where we are privileged to celebrate and nurture both our similarities and differences. We take care and pride in each other and ourselves, we really believe it is important to be positive and happy, that learning is for everyone. We want to be aspirational and ambitious, we want to keep getting better. We expect everyone to help create a place where we can all thrive and enjoy being together.
