Good morning Year 4! On this page you'll find our suggested home learning tasks for today. Reading

Read a book for at least 30 minutes today - this could be one of the books you have from school, one from the local library or even a magazine you have at home. Make sure you write this in your home reading record too! Summarise what you have read in your reading record book.

 

Maths

Cast your mind back to all the learning we have done about fractions. Design a t-shirt and include everything you know about fractions. With adult permission, use an old t-shirt and copy your design over.

EITHER, Task 1-

Make up your own verse for Loki the Joker.

Try to include a different Viking God.

Can you use any made up instruments (pans, spoons, tins.) To play along with your song.

OR, Task 2-

Choose your favourite God or Goddess from Viking times and write a fact file about them.

Today we are looking at the muscular system.

 

Muscles work in pairs.

We have voluntary muscles (in our arms and legs etc).

We have involuntary muscles (heart).

Muscles are made from tissue cells.

 

Let’s keep our fitness levels up and work those muscles.
