Learning Links
At school we use accelerated reader to help gauge where children are with their reading. The site also enables children in years 2-6 to go online and complete quizzes on books they have read – and earn points for their efforts! Pupil logins are the same as their Mathseed and Times Table Rock Star details.
Children at Silverdale have access to Bug Club Phonics and Bug Club Grammar & Spelling to support their learning. Children will have brought home their logins - if you haven't got yours then please contact your child's classroom teacher. The programme can be used on most internet enabled devices.
Mathseeds is a fantastic programme from the same people behind Reading Eggs - in fact it is accessed via the Reading Eggs app or website. Regular use will support your child's Maths learning and build confidence.
Children in Years 3-6 will have access to Rollama
All children in KS2 have access to Times Tables Rockstars. This is a fun and engaging way for children to learn those all important multiplication tables. Children should know their logins - if your doesn't please ask their teacher or use the email contact at the bottom of this page. The site has an app, which can be downloaded for almost all devices.
