Extracurricular
Learning goes far beyond the classroom. With beautiful grounds and stunning sporting facilities, we aim to offer opportunities to grow to all our children, whatever their talents and interests.
We have developed incredible young talent in netball, football, athletics, badminton and tennis over previous years. However we also pride ourselves in the areas of sports, arts, singing and drama. As well as a wealth of extra-curricular activities, all children are welcome in our inclusive, engaging breakfast and after school clubs for little adventurers.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club has proven to be a winner with both parents and pupils. It provides a good start to the school day. Research has shown that children who eat breakfast have better levels of concentration in the classroom.
- Cost incl. nutritious, balanced breakfast: £3.50 per session (fruit juice, choice of cereals, toast and toppings, fresh fruit or raisins, yogurt or fromage frais)
- Cost without breakfast: £2.75 per session
The children are encouraged to eat well and at least try a portion of fruit, if nothing else. Our delicious, nutritious food is overseen by our Breakfast Co-ordinator, who holds a Food Hygiene Certificate.
Breakfast is served any time between 8.00 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. Once the children have eaten they can join other members of the club in the hall and, under supervision, they can play quietly with board games, do drawing/colouring, or just chat to friends if they so wish. Just before school starts the children go straight to their classes (the younger children are escorted to their classes) – so there’s no hanging around in the playground!

Activities include Art and Crafts, Photography, Board and Card games, Book Corner, Cooking, Chill Out Area, Forest School, Movie nights, Sewing and Knitting, Music and many more things to suit your child.
Holiday Club
Runs every school holiday apart from Christmas and Inset Days

All holiday club places need to be pre-booked and paid for by the closing date specified on the booking form
We do not accept on the day admissions or payments. Any payment made is non-refundable. We have introduced this pre-booking system to ensure the club is operating at the highest standards in safeguarding and ensuring the appropriate staffing levels.
Bring own pack lunch with a non-fizzy drink.
